In 2011 after decades of success and sometimes disappointment in the network marketing industry we decided to build a world class company that we would want to be representatives. We’ve done that and continue to do that. How serious are we? Just one of many examples was launching our Company with a 40,000 square foot headquarters.
Q International is headquartered in Whitsett, North Carolina where our facility houses corporate offices, shipping and receiving, customer service, back office operations and training and conference facilities. While it is rare for a brand new company to make this level of commitment to infrastructure, putting a foundation in place from day one to handle future expansion is an important part of ensuring success and demonstrates Q International's long-term commitment to its Representatives.
The Founders of Q International represent a unique and rare combination of business executives with extensive experience and a wide range of skills. Collectively, these gentlemen have 50+ years experience in the Direct Sales, Network Marketing Industry. Having built network marketing organizations both here in the US and abroad, they understand the needs and challenges of the field. Q International's owners also have extensive traditional business experience including owning and operating businesses in the Retail, Wholesale, Manufacturing, Real Estate Development, Consulting, and International Business sectors. They have experience in all aspects of business management including accounting and financial management systems, customer service, order processing and fulfillment, shipping and receiving, payment processing, sales and marketing systems, employee and leadership development, public speaking and training seminars, and facilities management. A convergence of talents, skills and experience such as these, focused on one business project.
Evan Runde - Chief Executive Officer
After completing degrees in accounting, finance and economics at Towson University, Evan pursued a career in the commercial banking industry. Beginning as a financial analyst, he rapidly climbed the ranks to an executive level position as a Regional VP with responsibility for a 600 million dollar region of a 25 billion dollar institution. In 1990, Evan left the corporate world to pursue entrepreneurial interests and has owned numerous traditional businesses in a wide variety of industries.
For the last 20 years, Evan has been an accomplished Network Marketer. As a multi-million dollar earner, he's built large organizations in the U.S. and overseas. Evan has also provided consulting services to existing and start-up Network Marketing companies. His success in the industry has been well documented in publications including Upline, Cutting Edge Opportunities, and Network Marketing Lifestyles. Richard Poe in his landmark book on the industry, Wave 4 - Network Marketing in the 21st Century, devoted two chapters to Evan.
Best known for his energy and enthusiasm, Evan is an excellent communicator, an accomplished speaker, and a skilled trainer. Evan's expertise and leadership to Q International's Reps in the field is invaluable. His vast business experience and diverse set of skills provide the company with a talented senior manager for all facets of the business operation.
Ken Walker - President and CFO
Ken is a very experienced businessman and a savvy entrepreneur. After graduating from the University of North Carolina, Ken began his career in sales and marketing with Xerox. For nearly 30 years, Ken was the CFO, Director of Operations and a partner of a multi-million dollar international apparel business. In addition to traveling extensively, coordinating accounts and vendors in international markets, Ken managed the US operations including marketing plans, budgeting, and financial oversight.
Over the past decade, Ken has owned and managed a high volume REMAX Realty office. With expertise in commercial and residential real estate as well as land development, Ken has not only been an award winning, top producer personally, but he's also a leader in the industry and community. He's been the President of the Board of Realtors, the Chairman of the County Planning Board and held numerous industry and community board and leadership positions.
In addition to Ken's traditional business experience, he's been a leader and top performer in the Network Marketing industry for 10 years. Ken's tremendous work ethic, tireless attention to details and decades of hands-on business experience provides Q International with a highly skilled, competent executive manager to oversee the business.
John Walker - Chief Operating Officer
Upon graduating from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Marketing and Advertising, John launched into a full time real estate career. After two years of general brokerage, he took a position as a Sales Manager and Director of Marketing for a high volume REMAX franchise. Over the past four years, John has overseen a sales portfolio of over 30 million dollars annually, and his office has consistently ranked as the highest producing firm per broker in the local market.
John has years of experience in the network marketing industry. "I love network marketing," he says, "I signed up with my first company when I was 17 and was able to pay for a good portion of my education thanks to this industry. Most of all, I love how it enables me to help people financially and build lasting friendships."
John is a graduate of the E.A. Morris Fellowship for Emerging Leader, and has extensive leadership training. He is the youngest person in his home city to run for a City Council position. John stays active in his community by coaching high school soccer and guest lecturing on the topic of leadership at Elon University.
Dr Ted Schock D.O.

Medical and Scientific Advisory Board
Dr. Ted Schock graduated from the Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in North Miami Beach, Florida (now known as Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida) in 1985 with a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. He also earned a Master’s of Science degree in Medical Education. Dr. Schock completed a one-year Rotating Osteopathic Internship followed by two years of a Family Practice Residency. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and a member in good standing of the Georgia Osteopathic Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Medical Association, the American Holistic Medical Association, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Schock practiced Family Medicine in Covington, GA from 1988 to 2007. He presently is a staff physician in the Developmental Disabilities Service at Central State Hospital in Milledgeville, Georgia.
Dr. Schock chose Osteopathic Medicine as his profession because of its holistic approach and philosophy. He believes that medicine should consider the whole body, taking into account the biological, psychological, and social aspects that we all face. Dr. Schock feels that practicing medicine is not just treating disease, just as health is not merely the absence of sickness.
He is a champion of vitamin and nutraceutical supplementation due to the amazing results he has witnessed within his practice. He feels that prevention is truly the key to any quest for health and wellness. Paying close attention to the air we breathe, the water we drink, the nutrients we consume, our exercise, our sleep, and our mental and physical well-being are paramount for any successful anti-aging and wellness program.
